Combined Fracture of Carpal and Volar Divergent Dislocation of the Second to Fifth Carpometacarpal Joints

The volar divergent dislocation of the second to fifth carpometacarpal joints and involving fracture carpal is an extremely rare injury. We reported a case 55-year-old man, victim motorbike, who was struck by car, admitted at emergency department unable move his left hand with severe swelling. X-rays CT scan showed carpal. Patient underwent closed reduction plaster fixation right way, after one week, he received open internal K-wire plaster. Functional exercise started progressively once were removed six weeks. At months follow-up, results excellent patient has regained all range motion activities. Key words: joint, palmar, divergent, dislocation, hand, wrist.
